10 hours coaching per week

From midweek match days to extra-curricular opportunities, students are not only taught skill and teamwork but dedication, responsibility and respect for other players, officials and themselves.

Sessions will focus on fitness testing, sports leadership, coaching, improving technique, tactical awareness, strength, conditioning and players overall awareness and understanding of the game.

Off the Pitch – Academic Studies

10 hours per week

To ensure students have a robust and holistic understanding and appreciation for Sport, they will be educated across a number of aspects of Sport including nutrition, physiology, psychology and anatomy. This will provide students to progress towards a wealth of sporting career options going forward.

We offer the extended Diploma as this is equivalent to 3 A-Levels and will give students the opportunity to progress straight onto University if they choose.

The programme gives students an broad insight into the diversity of disciplines and careers available in sport and presents graduates with the full spectrum of potential exit routes from scholarships, university, professional and semi-professional sports contracts to employment and apprenticeships.

We encourage discipline through participation in positive learning activities and strive to improve young people’s confidence and self-esteem whilst teaching them new disciplines and skills they can use throughout their life and future career.
